We are proud to announce the first solo exhibition in more than three decades of the original paintings and sculpture of American artist patricia knop, "Patricia Knop: SIDESHOW." Patricia's sculpture is some of the most intricate and thought-provoking, symbolist, figural American sculpture we have had the pleasure of presenting. Her work delves deeply into the world of the human psyche and its myriad of emotions, executing her vision with a classical strength and a constant aura of whimsy. The recently concluded exhibition, "Darren LeGallo: Nothing You Don't Know", was met with overwhelmingly positive response. A short film of the exhibitions opening night is currently in production and will be released shortly. A second exhibition for late 2013 - early 2014 is currently in development. We are very proud to announce the exclusive representation of just arrived original mixed media paintings by Canadian artist Gerald Zeldin. Classically trained on the west coast, the artist lived and worked in Canada producing some of the most extraordinary architectural and figurative surreal abstract paintings we have seen to date. Gerald Zeldin implemented a level of detail in his work not often found; all with a sense of kinetic energy, exuding a sense of balance and movement within the paintings, along with a never ending tone of whimsy. This will be the first time many of these mixed media paintings have been exhibited, having just arrived from the personal collection of the artist's family. We are proud to announce the acquisition of a large allegorical painting by German artist, Hans Otto Orlowski, "The Judgment of Paris", an original oil on panel, signed, and dated 1938. This painting brings tones of Utopian Art Deco, Greek mythology, and surrealism together as Paris chooses the fairest of three goddess', Asia, Athena and Aphrodite, choosing by handing one his golden apple. Painted in Germany in 1938, Hans Otto Orlowski was a painter and gravure artist who was handled by the Gurlitt Galerie in Munich, Germany until 1953.
